Oliver Chong > 2009.4.8 - Day 361:

I wanted to show another angle that I found interesting in the lily leaves.

Thanks to Jeremy, I can fill in the day since I started this "daily" photo series. In the end I have shot more than a third of the year, though there are about 4 photos I have yet to put up. I'll probably take a break for a bit to work on another interest that needs consistent dedication to get started, as well as spend some time planing some future photography ideas.
Oliver Chong > 2009.4.7 - Day 360 :

Took a break from processing photos from our trip to Washington, DC to try out the Canon Macro Ring Light MR-14EX that Irene bought me as an early birthday gift. Thanks sweetie!

So much to learn with regards to flash...

This was taken with the Canon 100mm macro set to somewhere around 1:1.5 - 1:2. The MR-14EX is set ratio 4:1. It's great that you can spin the flash so that the bulbs are at any arbitrary angle.
